Captain Gvido Laudups appointed new head of Naval Forces

A ceremony in Liepāja marked the change of command of the Naval Forces, with Captain Gvido Laudups taking over from Flotilla Admiral Māris Polencs, who had led the force for four years. Laudups assumed his duties on August 12.

He succeeds Flotilla Admiral Māris Polencs, who had held the position for four years before stepping down.
