Ēbere/Konstantinova and Šalkovskis/Jaundžeikars triumph in Liepāja beach volleyball stage
Anete Ēbere and Liene Konstantinova won the women's event, while Rinalds Šalkovskis and Artūrs Jaundžeikars took the men's title at the Latvian Beach Volleyball Championship stage in Liepāja.

The Latvian Beach Volleyball Championship continued with the Liepāja stage, where the winners were crowned on Sunday. In the women's final, top seeds Anete Ēbere and Liene Konstantinova defeated seventh seeds Krista Paegle and Rēzija Puškundze in straight sets (21:10, 21:18). The bronze medal match saw fourth seeds Milana Aleksejeva and Denēva Šauberga beat eleventh seeds Evelīna Krieva and Karlīna Kazāka 2-0 (21:14, 21:11).
In the men's competition, third seeds Rinalds Šalkovskis and Artūrs Jaundžeikars defeated top seeds Markuss Graudiņš and Mārcis Bērziņš 2-0 (21:14, 21:17) in the final. The battle for third place went to twelve seeds Bruno Bulgačs and Gustavs Druska, who edged out seventh seeds Ralfs Namiķis and Rūdolfs Stankevičs in three sets (24:22, 16:21, 16:14).
This season's Latvian Championship consists of five stages held in Jūrmala, Saulkrasti, Liepāja, Ventspils, and the Ropaži district near the "Sāga" shopping center. The final stage is scheduled for August.
