Liepāja and Jēkabpils Municipality named safest for road traffic

Latvia's Ministry of Transport has reviewed road traffic safety data across the country's municipalities to identify which ones performed best last year.

Liepāja was named the safest city for road traffic, while Jēkabpils Municipality was recognized as the safest municipality overall.

The designation highlights local governments where road traffic conditions and outcomes were more favorable compared to other administrative territories in Latvia.
