Liepāja Falls to Vienna Austria in First Conference League Qualifier

FK Liepāja lost 0:2 to FK Austria Wien in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round on Thursday in Jūrmala.

FK "Liepāja" suffered a 0:2 defeat against Austria Wien (Vienna) in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round on Thursday, July 23. The match was played in Jūrmala, Latvia.

The Austrian side took the lead in the first half and added a second goal after the break. The Latvian team was unable to find the net, making the return leg in Vienna a difficult task.

Later on Thursday, Latvian clubs RFS and "Auda" were also set to play their first-leg matches in the same competition, which were yet to be completed at the time of writing.
