According to her, one of the most important ideas the production aims to convey to audiences is that making mistakes is a normal, natural part of life — not something extraordinary or unacceptable.
Not staying alone with one's feelings
The playwright emphasizes that a person always has the choice not to remain alone with their inner feelings and experiences. In her view, it is sometimes worth taking the initiative and acting in order to move forward and reach the answers one is searching for.
Bugavičute-Pēce notes that such action matters precisely because time is relentless — the opportunity to search for and find answers is not infinite, so it is important to act while it is still possible.
The play "Father Silence" thus focuses on inner human experience, the encounter with mistakes, and the need to actively seek understanding and answers in life, rather than remaining passive or isolated with one's feelings.
