Lithuanian startup Sigvi raises €1.2 million for AI-powered car rental platform
Vilnius-based Sigvi, an AI revenue agent for the car rental industry, has secured €1.2 million in pre-seed funding led by Finnish VC Superhero Capital to scale its platform across Europe.
Sigvi, a Vilnius-based AI revenue agent for the car rental industry, has raised €1.2 million in pre-seed funding to accelerate product development and international expansion. The round was led by Helsinki-based venture capital firm Superhero Capital. Vladas Lašas, Chairman of the Lithuanian Business Angel Network (LitBAN) and co-founder of the Carbon War Room, participated alongside other angel investors.
Founded in 2023 by Vytis Šliažas (CEO), Ignas Gibas (COO), and Mindaugas Banaitis (CTO), Sigvi is an AI revenue agent for the car rental industry. The company aggregates vehicles from independent fleet operators and private owners, managing all operations end-to-end. Its AI engine handles dynamic pricing, bookings, keyless 24/7 vehicle access, automated vehicle inspections, predictive maintenance scheduling, and customer support.
Sigvi offers a wide selection of professionally managed vehicles, typically priced around 30% below traditional international rental brands, available from pickup locations with no counter and no queue. The company cooperates with the Kemi network of car service centers, where each vehicle is regularly inspected and maintained, starting from its initial preparation for rental. It claims to replace car parts more frequently than recommended by the manufacturer and changes tires every season: summer tires in warm seasons and winter tires in cold seasons.
Highlighting its sustainability quotient, the startup says the platform uses existing second-cycle vehicles instead of buying new fleets, offering a more sustainable model by maximizing the use of cars already on the road. Sigvi launched operations in Poland in June 2026 and currently manages more than 200 vehicles.
“Sigvi has found a structural inefficiency in a massive market and built an elegant solution around it. We see a clear path for Sigvi to become the digital infrastructure layer for independent car rental across Europe,” said Gytenis Galkis, Partner at Superhero Capital. The company plans to use this capital to further develop its AI automation platform and increase its managed network to 2,000 vehicles within two years.
