Lithuanian tech company 'Teltonika' receives bomb threats

Lithuanian high-tech group 'Teltonika' received bomb threats on Friday, which turned out to be false. Employees were evacuated, no explosives were found.

Lithuanian police investigated bomb threats targeting the high-tech group 'Teltonika' on Friday morning. The threats were delivered via email, claiming that explosives had been planted in two company buildings – offices in Vilnius and Kaunas.

Police received the report at 11:40 am and immediately evacuated employees from both locations. A thorough search was conducted, but no explosives or suspicious items were discovered. The Kaunas District Main Police Station confirmed that threats were also made against the Vilnius office, where the search also yielded negative results.

Police Department spokesperson Ramūns Matonis stated that the investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances and identify those responsible. 'Teltonika' is a well-known Lithuanian high-tech company specializing in IoT solutions. The company has not yet provided further comments on the incident.
