Līga Aizupiete, a resident of Līgatne, is one of the few bathhouse keepers in Latvia who continues her craft at the age of 90. For her, bath and fire rituals are not only a passion but also a daily job that brings joy to people from various places.

Her granddaughter Justīne lives between Latvia and the United States, and her great-granddaughters Austra and Vizma are U.S. citizens. Despite the geographical distance, the grandmother strives to pass on Latvian traditions to the younger generations. By the banks of the Gauja River, Līga teaches her granddaughter and great-granddaughters the fire ritual, emphasizing that keeping the Latvian spirit alive depends on each individual.
