Limbaži Foundation Prepares for Its Annual Prayer Breakfast
Founders of the community foundation Limbažu fonds met in Limbaži to review summer activities and discuss future plans. The foundation has operated since 2009 and is one of six community foundations in Latvia.

Founders of the non-profit organisation Limbažu fonds (the Limbaži Foundation) gathered on Tuesday at the Limbaži Theatre House in Latvia. They met to go over what the foundation did during the summer months and to discuss plans for the future. The headline of the report says the foundation is preparing for its annual Prayer Breakfast, but the available part of the text gives no details about that event.
Spīdola Lielmane, chair of the foundation's board, said she was pleased that so many colleagues had come. She noted that over the years the group has become well accustomed to working together and that meeting is always enjoyable.
The Limbaži Foundation has been active since 2009. It is now one of six community foundations in Latvia. A community foundation is an organisation that works for the benefit of its local community.
Other founders at the meeting included Juris Salmiņš, Jānis Bakmanis, Guna Preimane, Taisa Aruma, Taiga Plitniece, Ilze Apeine, Inta Kalniņa and Karolis Treijs.
A fuller account of the meeting appears in the newspaper Auseklis and its e-edition.
