Camp for Children of Ukrainian Soldiers Ends in Limbaži Region
A week-long camp for 80 children of Ukrainian soldiers, organized by the Youth Guard Centre in Limbaži Region, has concluded; participants spent time with Latvian youth guards and saw the sea for the first time.

An emotional farewell marked the end of a week-long camp in Limbaži Region on Friday. The camp, organized by the Youth Guard Centre, brought together children of Ukrainian soldiers. As the event drew to a close, the participants hugged one another with tears in their eyes.
The camp hosted 80 children from families of Ukrainian Armed Forces and National Guard members. They were joined by 27 Latvian youth guards.
During the week, the children enjoyed peaceful skies, went on excursions and took walks along the sea. For many, this was their first encounter with the sea and their first time outside their war-torn homeland.
The camp gave the participants a chance to see the sea and feel a sense of freedom.
