Winners announced in Latgalian literary contest in Rogovka
For over 20 years, a literary contest dedicated to Pēteris Jurciņš has been held in Rogovka, Rēzekne region, aiming to promote the creation of new works in Latgalian, especially for children and youth.

The annual literary contest in honor of Pēteris Jurciņš has concluded in Rogovka, Rēzekne region, with winners in three categories. The event, which has been running for more than two decades, seeks to encourage the production of new literary works in the Latgalian language, with a particular focus on literature for children and young adults.
This year, the poetry category was won by Elizabete, while Aija Mikele took first place in humorous prose. Meldra Gailāne was awarded the top prize in the children's and youth literature category.
