Liverpool eye Brentford's Schade as Haaland and Foden draw Spanish and German interest

Transfer gossip suggests Liverpool have become serious contenders to sign Germany forward Kevin Schade, while Manchester City stars Erling Haaland and Phil Foden are drawing attention from Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Several European football outlets have published the latest round of transfer gossip on Thursday, touching on a number of Premier League clubs.

Liverpool have reportedly emerged as genuine contenders to sign Brentford and Germany forward Kevin Schade, 24, who has previously also been linked with Manchester United.

Interest in Manchester City stars

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are said to be monitoring Norway forward and Manchester City player Erling Haaland, 26, ready to move if an opportunity arises. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich are reportedly prepared to pursue England midfielder Phil Foden, 26, should he become available from Manchester City.

Other gossip

Barcelona have confirmed they attempted but failed to sign Argentina forward and Inter Milan player Lautaro Martinez, 29, during the summer.

Italy defender Giorgio Scalvini, 22, of Atalanta, is said to want to experience playing abroad at some point in his career, with Newcastle and Chelsea having already shown interest.

Brazilian full-back Dodo, 27, of Fiorentina appears set for a January departure, with Nottingham Forest, Roma and Napoli among the interested clubs.

Brighton and Gambia winger Yankuba Minteh, 22, is reportedly still keen on a move to Liverpool after a summer deal failed to materialise.
