LNOB Season: Synergy of Tradition and Innovation

The 2025/2026 season of the Latvian National Opera and Ballet (LNOB) was dedicated to the unique power of opera to combine music, theatre, architecture, and shared enjoyment of art in a single evening. The season highlighted the values of the classical repertoire, the energy created by encounters between artists, and fresh perspectives on well-known works. The opera house hosted outstanding international guests and boldly allocated two months for interior renovation. In early June, LNOB opened its doors for a grand and splendid program of the Riga Opera Festival.
