LSM hosts pre-election debates in Zemgale ahead of 15th Saeima vote

Ahead of the elections to the 15th Saeima, LSM and Latvian Television are running a broad series of pre-election debates titled "Choose the Future of Latvia!". The latest installment takes place in the Zemgale electoral district.

Debates across all districts

The debate series covers all five of Latvia's electoral districts — Latgale, Zemgale, Riga, Kurzeme and Vidzeme. Separate debates are held in each district, giving candidates the chance to present their views to voters in that particular region.

The debates are broadcast live, allowing residents to follow the candidates' discussions ahead of the vote.

The series is part of LSM and Latvian Television's preparations for the 15th Saeima elections, aiming to give voters a broader look at the political issues and candidate positions across the country's different regions.
