LSM Board Member Tanne Earned Over 100,000 Euros Last Year

Last year, LSM board member Ilze Tanne declared income exceeding 104,000 euros, mainly from her salary at the Latvian Public Broadcaster. She owns several properties and a car, but also has significant liabilities.

According to her official declaration, LSM board member Ilze Tanne earned a total of 104,006 euros last year. The bulk of this – 100,420 euros – came from her salary at Latvijas Sabiedriskais medijs (LSM), where she serves on the board responsible for financial management. Additionally, Tanne declared a pension of 2,304 euros, a benefit of 1,200 euros from the State Social Insurance Agency, and 82 euros in interest payments from Swedbank.

Tanne owns an apartment and two other real estate properties in Riga. She also holds a 2022 model year electric vehicle, an Audi Q4 Sportback 40 E-tron. She declared one investment fund worth 2,614 euros. Her non-cash savings amount to 18,231 euros, while total liabilities stand at 206,233 euros. Tanne noted that she accumulates funds in private pension funds and has life insurance with savings accumulation.

LSM was established following the merger of Latvijas Radio and Latvijas Televīzija, initiated in April 2024. The new unified public broadcaster officially began operations on January 2, 2025.
