LTV's "Party in Focus" series concludes with "United List"

Latvian Television (LTV) is continuing its broadcast series "Party in Focus," designed to give viewers a fuller picture of the programs and offers put forward by political forces competing in the upcoming elections. The series was created specifically to help voters make an informed and considered choice ahead of the 15th Saeima elections.

Selection criteria

Parties invited to take part in the series are those that, according to public opinion research conducted by SKDS, had reached at least two percent voter support in early August. This threshold served as the basis for determining which parties and alliances would be featured across the broadcast cycle.

Final episode

The concluding episode in the series turns its attention to the political alliance "United List" (Apvienotais saraksts). With this broadcast, LTV's overview of the competing political forces comes to a close — other parties that also cleared the support threshold were featured in earlier installments of the series.

The program airs live, giving viewers the chance to follow the party representatives' presentations and any questions raised in real time. The series is aimed at all voters who want a clearer understanding of where the various political forces stand before casting their ballots.
