Latvian Television (LTV) has begun broadcasting a new program series titled "Party in Focus," aimed at helping voters make an informed decision ahead of the upcoming 15th Saeima elections. Each episode will offer an in-depth look at a specific party's platform and what it offers to voters.

Which parties are included

Participation in the series was determined using data from a public opinion poll conducted by the research center SKDS. Only political parties that had reached at least 2% voter support in early August were selected to be featured. This means the series will represent only those political forces that already have a measurable level of public backing.

The first episode

The opening episode focuses on the party "Mēs mainām noteikumus" (We Change the Rules). Viewers will get a closer look at the party's proposed program and what it promises voters if it wins seats in the new Saeima.

The series is part of LTV's pre-election programming, intended to give voters objective and comprehensive information about the positions of parties running in the election, making the decision easier when they reach the polling station.
