Lucavsala residents complain about nighttime revelry by the Daugava

In the Lucavsala neighborhood of Riga, residents are voicing their dissatisfaction with the situation at a recreation spot along the Daugava riverbank. Locals say that during the warm season, loud parties regularly take place at night, causing noise and mess. The recreation area is located near several residential buildings. During the day, the area is clean and pleasant for relaxation, but in the evenings the situation changes drastically, causing discomfort for those living nearby. A resident named Rudīte, who calls herself an indigenous Lucavsala dweller, told the TV program "Bez tabu" that during the warm months, nighttime life in the area becomes so disturbing that she feels like moving away.
