England international Lucy Bronze has extended her contract with Chelsea, keeping her at the club until 2027.

England defender Lucy Bronze has signed a contract extension with Chelsea that will keep her at the club until 2027. The experienced full-back joined Chelsea from Barcelona before the 2024/25 season and has since become a key figure in Sonia Bompastor's squad, making 56 appearances, scoring five goals, and helping the team win four trophies over two seasons.
Bronze described the move to Stamford Bridge as an exciting time for the team and said the extension feels like the right decision at this point in her career. She expressed her enjoyment of the past two years at Chelsea and her return to England, adding that she sees the club moving forward.
The 33-year-old has made 148 appearances for England since her debut in June 2013, scoring 22 goals. She was a vital part of the squads that won the UEFA Women's Euro in 2022 and 2025. During the 2022 tournament, she started all six matches, scoring in the semi-final win over Sweden and playing in the final against Germany at Wembley.
