Lūznava Manor to host 10th anniversary of “Mākslas pikniks” festival of arts and flavours
On July 11, the Lūznava Manor grounds will celebrate the tenth edition of the “Mākslas pikniks” festival, offering a rich program of music, circus, dance, art exhibitions and local gourmet treats.

The “Mākslas pikniks” (Art Picnic) festival will return to Lūznava Manor in Rēzekne district on Saturday, July 11, starting at 3 PM. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event, which has become one of the most vibrant summer culture happenings in Latgale. The organisers, the creative team of Lūznava Manor, promise a diverse programme.
The music lineup includes the Latgalian ethno-jazz ensemble “Bruoli i muosys”, the international trio “Even_Knows”, the new indie band “Tante Gaida”, the French trio “Tikismikis”, and a closing performance by “Dabasu Durovys”. Two contemporary circus acts will also be featured: Eitis Magia from Argentina and Cristián Ortiz from Spain.
Art exhibitions include Mihails Stecjuka’s private collection “Retro Synths”, Inese Elizabete Brimerberga’s painting exhibition “In Bloom”, and a pop-up show by the Latgalian artists’ association V.I.VA. Children can explore the world of bees in Agate Bankava’s exhibition “Here, Bee!”. The contemporary dance piece “Vērpete” invites the audience to join the dancers, accompanied by live music.
Organiser Inga Žirgule said the tenth edition confirms that the tradition is well established. This year’s festival highlights youth and Latgalian identity: most performers and choreographers are young, and several acts include Latgalian language elements.
Visitors can enjoy food and drinks from local producers, take part in creative workshops, and purchase tickets at “Bilešu paradīze” boxes, online, or at the manor.
