Road sections in Latgale to close for "Namejs 2026" military exercise

On Saturday, September 5, several sections of state roads in the Latgale region will be temporarily closed or have restricted traffic. The reason is the ongoing "Namejs 2026" national defense exercise, which requires adjustments to traffic arrangements on the affected road sections.

The restrictions were announced by the state joint-stock company Latvian State Roads (LVC), which is responsible for maintaining and managing the country's state road network.
