Maccabi Tel Aviv guard Yam Madar produced a spectacular moment near the end of the first half, sinking a shot from beyond half-court. The ball dropped through the net just as the buzzer sounded to end the period.
Maccabi cruises to victory
Despite the eye-catching play before the break, it did not decide the outcome of the game. Maccabi maintained control for the rest of the contest, ultimately winning 101:83.
With the victory, Maccabi asserted its dominance over city rival Hapoel in the Israeli Super Cup encounter.
