Ilze Saulīte-Beķere from Madona experienced an unexpected turn this spring – she and her husband decided to buy a house, even though they had no prior plans. It all started with a casual browse of listings when Ilze spotted a property for sale in central Madona. Although the family lacked sufficient funds, her husband surprisingly quickly arranged a viewing, and they immediately fell in love with the house.
After much deliberation and a sleepless night, they decided they had to buy it. However, the lack of financing was a serious obstacle. Ilze remembered that she had previously helped her son obtain an ALTUM loan, so she decided to try the option for herself. Before Easter, she filled out an application on the ALTUM website, and after the holidays, she received approval.
The entire process was quick and smooth – Ilze especially highlighted the assistance of consultant Daiga, who answered all questions. After completing the paperwork, Ilze received the house keys and began renovations to move in by autumn. She is delighted with the new property, especially the chestnut tree in the yard, as chestnuts are her personal passion.
Ilze actively recommends others to use the ALTUM program for purchasing a home in the regions, emphasizing that the process is simple and accessible to anyone with a stable income. She is currently selling her apartment and hopes buyers will take advantage of this opportunity.
