Real Madrid opens preseason with two victories
Real Madrid played two friendlies — against Alcorón and Leganés — and won both matches.

Real Madrid have started their preseason with two wins. Against Alcorón, Turkish youngster Arda Güler missed a penalty, but this summer's European U19 champion Daniel Yáñez converted from the spot.
In the match against Leganés, Uruguayan Federico Valverde scored in the 21st minute from a Güler assist, and shortly after, Trent Alexander-Arnold set up Gonzalo García to make it 2-0. The remaining two goals came between the 58th and 60th minutes: 18-year-old Argentine talent Franco Mastantuono found the net, and an own goal sealed the result.
The Madrid side still have friendlies scheduled against Fiorentina, Ferencváros, and Deportivo La Coruña.
