Macron announces new Ukrainian military orders after 'Coalition of the Willing' meeting in Paris
French President Emmanuel Macron said Monday that Ukraine has ordered 16 Rafale fighter jets, new SAMP/T air defense batteries, and production licenses for several capabilities, including the Scalp cruise missile.

After a meeting of more than 20 leaders of the "Coalition of the Willing" in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday revealed new military orders from Ukraine. He stated that Ukraine has ordered 16 Rafale fighter jets, an initial batch of new-generation SAMP/T surface-to-air defense batteries, and licenses for the production of several capabilities, including the Scalp cruise missile.
The announcement comes as allies continue to support Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression. The Rafale fighters are among the most advanced French-made jets, while the SAMP/T systems are high-end ground-to-air defense assets. The production licenses will enable Ukraine to develop its own defense industry. The coalition meeting reaffirmed long-term commitment to Ukraine.
