Macron and Trump discuss Ukraine and Middle East conflicts in New York

French President Emmanuel Macron held bilateral talks with US President Donald Trump in New York on Monday, just ahead of the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly. Following the meeting, Macron described the discussions with his American counterpart as 'very constructive'.
