In Latvia's cultural landscape, three art events are currently taking place, gathering artists from various national backgrounds. Commentator Andrei Shavrei points out that these events demonstrate art's ability to unite people regardless of their origins.

One of the events is a one-day exhibition titled 'Friendship of Peoples,' which symbolically reminds us of art's role as a bridge between cultures. Also drawing attention is the so-called 'Riga Van Gogh' — an artist whose work is associated with the name of the outstanding Dutch painter. The third event is a plein air, which traditionally brings artists together for joint creative work in the open air.

Shavrei emphasizes that in true art, nationality is not of primary importance. The diversity of artists enriches the creative process and allows audiences to see the world from different perspectives. These three events testify to the fact that creative expression transcends the boundaries of countries and nationalities.

Although each of the events is distinct, they share a common idea — art is a universal language understood by all. By visiting these events, everyone can see for themselves that the creative spirit knows no borders.
