Artist Anna Fanigina's Jewelry Speaks with Latin Words
Jewelry artist Anna Fanigina, who lives between Latvia and Italy, creates pieces with Latin words in her brand Verba, each carrying its own meaning.

Jewelry artist Anna Fanigina lives between different worlds – Latvia and Italy, mathematics and art, ancient culture and the present. She believes that everything in life has its own time.
Her workshop for the jewelry brand Verba is located in the far corner of Ziedoņdārzs park. The artist wears black linen pants, a white pleated blouse, and carries a small red handbag. She recalls: “A woman's age is determined not by years but by how straight her back is.”
Anna wears her own red earrings and a large red sun ring resembling the Japanese flag. This ring is from her favorite collection Analemma, dedicated to sunlight and warmth. The jewelry is engraved with Latin words – a trademark of Verba. Each word has its own meaning or even multiple meanings.
