Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign 22-year-old Brazilian footballer Alan, with the transfer fee set at €37.5 million and potentially rising to €40 million including bonuses.

Alan's move to Manchester is being viewed as a replacement for Savinho, who is set to move to London to join Tottenham.

Career so far

Alan, who can play as a right-sided midfielder or forward, made his debut in Brazil's top division in April last year. He finished the 2025 season with two goals and three assists in 28 appearances. In the 2026 season so far, he has scored four goals and provided three assists in 21 matches.

Notably, Alan has never been capped for the Brazilian national team, meaning his move to one of the Premier League's leading clubs comes without any international experience.
