Man Utd and Arsenal track Scott; Real Madrid want Fernandez
Manchester United and Arsenal are both keeping tabs on Bournemouth and England midfielder Alex Scott, 22, according to Wednesday's transfer gossip. A successful move could cost around £60 million.
Arsenal are also in contact with Leicester City over a deal for England Under-19 winger Jeremy Monga, 16. The Gunners plan to pay a fair fee to avoid a tribunal.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid will open talks with Chelsea for Argentina international Enzo Fernandez, 25, making him their top midfield target this summer.
Aston Villa express interest in Bowen and others
Aston Villa have shown strong interest in West Ham and England winger Jarrod Bowen, 29, but an agreement could be difficult until Villa generate player sales. Villa have also made clear they do not want to sell 23-year-old England midfielder Morgan Rogers this summer.
Other rumors
Newcastle United are interested in Cologne and Germany U21 winger Said El Mala, 19, and are in contact over Lille and Belgium forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo, 21. However, Liverpool are waiting in the wings if they fail to land RB Leipzig and Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande, 19, or Paris St-Germain and France forward Bradley Barcola, 23.
Arsenal are continuing talks over a potential deal for Atletico Madrid and Argentina striker Julian Alvarez, 26. Bayern Munich plan to double France midfielder Michael Olise's wages as part of a deal to keep the 24-year-old until 2031.
Real Madrid are interested in Manchester City and Norway striker Erling Haaland, 25, should 25-year-old Brazil winger Vinicius Jr leave the Bernabeu. Manchester United are expected to launch an official approach for West Ham and Portugal midfielder Mateus Fernandes, 21, in the coming days.
Borussia Monchengladbach and Switzerland defender Nico Elvedi, 29, is open to a move to Leeds United. Aston Villa are in talks with Flamengo over Brazilian defender Emerson Royal, 27.
