Manchester City have agreed a deal to sign Brazilian winger Allan Elias from Palmeiras, with the transfer potentially worth up to £34.2m in total.
The clubs have settled on a fixed fee of £32m, with a further £2.2m available in add-ons. The 22-year-old is due to undergo a medical in the coming days.
Allan is expected to replace fellow Brazilian Savinho at Etihad Stadium, with Savinho reportedly close to a move to Tottenham.
Other deals in motion
Manchester City remain in advanced discussions over selling Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush to Tottenham. Sources familiar with the matter say there is a "good chance" the transfer will be finalised before the window closes on 1 September, though some details still need to be resolved.
Midfielder Nico Gonzalez could also leave the club before the deadline, with Newcastle understood to have strong interest in signing the Spaniard.
