Man City agree £86m deal for 18-year-old Lille midfielder Bouaddi
Manchester City have reached a principle agreement worth around 100m euros (£86m) to sign 18-year-old Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. The Morocco international is set to complete his move to England soon.

Manchester City have struck a deal in principle with Lille to sign 18-year-old midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi in a transfer worth roughly 100m euros (£86m).
BBC Sport had reported earlier in the week that the two clubs were engaged in advanced negotiations over a possible move for the Morocco international. An agreement is now in place, with the teenager set to finalise his long-running transfer to England, where he will join Enzo Maresca's squad.
Strengthening the midfield
After selling midfielders Rodri and Tijani Reinders, Manchester City have made bolstering their central midfield options a key priority. Bouaddi's arrival is seen as part of that effort.
The club also remains interested in Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, though it is not yet clear whether a deal for him can be reached.
