Manchester United youngsters crush Rosenborg in friendly
Manchester United defeated Rosenborg 5-0 in a pre-season friendly in Trondheim, with four goals scored by academy players aged 19-20.

In a pre-season friendly in Trondheim, Norway, Manchester United thrashed local club Rosenborg 5-0. Four of the five goals were scored by academy youngsters aged 19 and 20.
Shea Lacey opened the scoring in the 31st minute. After manager Michael Carrick made a series of substitutions, Joshua Zirkzee, Jacob Devaney, Harry Amass, and Ethan Williams added to the tally.
This was United's second pre-season match this summer. Last Saturday in Helsinki, they lost 1-0 to Championship side Wrexham.
In August, United face tougher opponents: Atletico Madrid (August 1), Paris Saint-Germain (August 8), Leeds United (August 12), and AC Milan (August 15).
Last season, Manchester United returned to the Premier League top three, securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League.
