Manchester United's women's team have agreed a deal to sign 23-year-old Swedish winger Monica Jusu Bah from BK Hacken for just under £400,000. She has put pen to paper on a four-year contract.

Jusu Bah had been under contract at BK Hacken until 2028, but United sources say several other clubs had shown interest in signing her. The move marks United's third signing ahead of Thursday's deadline for the Women's Super League transfer window.

The player expressed excitement about joining United, highlighting the togetherness within the squad and the opportunity to work under coach Eva Olid ahead of the new season.

Career in Sweden

Jusu Bah has spent her entire career in Sweden so far, breaking through at Umea before moving to BK Hacken in 2023. In May, she helped BK Hacken win the inaugural Women's Europa Cup. She has made 11 appearances for the Swedish national team and featured in all six of Sweden's Women's World Cup qualifying matches this year.

Manchester United have already brought in defender Andrea Medina from Atletico Madrid and goalkeeper Janina Leitzig from Leicester City this window, and the club hopes to add at least one more player before next week's deadline.
