Girl Beaten in Marijampolė Hospitalized Again; Mother Says Attack Was Premeditated
The teenage girl brutally assaulted in Marijampolė in July has been readmitted to the hospital. Her mother believes the attack was pre-planned, and the lawyer aims to hold not only the perpetrators but also those who incited the violence accountable.

The minor who was severely beaten in Marijampolė's Poetry Park in mid-July has returned to the hospital after her condition worsened. According to her mother, the incident was likely premeditated. A group of peers watched and filmed the assault without intervening.
Lawyer Gintaras Černiauskas, representing the victim, stated that interrogations of all individuals involved in the attack are expected to begin this week. He also said he would seek to hold accountable not only the direct perpetrator but also those who encouraged the violence by shouting and urging the aggressor on.
The mother confirmed that her daughter is being treated again, but the length of hospitalization remains unknown. The case has shocked Lithuanian society and sparked debate about youth violence and prevention.
