Mark Lajal falls short of Mallorca tennis tournament final
Estonia's top-ranked player Mark Lajal lost in the semifinal of the ATP Challenger 75 tournament in Mallorca. His conqueror, Frenchman Felix Balchou, will face an Italian or Spanish opponent in the final.

Mark Lajal, Estonia's number one tennis player currently ranked 152nd in the world, was eliminated in the semifinals of the ATP Challenger 75 tournament held at the Rafael Nadal Academy in Mallorca.
Lajal lost in straight sets to world number 252 Felix Balchou of France. The score was 6:7 (7:9), 5:7, with the match lasting 2 hours and 10 minutes.
Final matchup ahead
The 20-year-old Balchou will meet the winner of the other semifinal in the final, a clash between Italy's Luca Potenza (ranked 488th) and Spain's Iñaki Montes de la Torre (ranked 274th).
