Marc Márquez Secures Second Consecutive MotoGP Victory
Spanish rider Marc Márquez won the Czech Grand Prix on Sunday, marking his second straight win of the season.

Spanish motorcycle racer Marc Márquez claimed victory in the premier MotoGP class at the ninth round of the World Championship in Czech Republic on Sunday. This marks his second consecutive win.
The race started with Japanese rider Ai Ogura on pole, but he was quickly overtaken by both Ducati riders – Italian Francesco Bagnaia and Márquez. Bagnaia led for most of the race, but on lap 16, five laps before the finish, Márquez overtook him and took the lead. Later, Bagnaia also lost position to Ogura, who finished second, while Bagnaia completed the podium.
Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi from Aprilia was disqualified from Sunday's race. The reason: after a crash in the sprint race, he behaved aggressively towards race officials, pushing and hitting them. His teammate Jorge Martín finished ninth.
In the overall standings after nine rounds, Bezzecchi leads with 180 points, followed by Martín (172), Di Giannantonio (157), and Márquez (140). The season consists of 22 rounds and will conclude in November. Last season, Márquez secured his seventh MotoGP title.
