Markus Strods helps Bohemians strengthen position in top three of Irish Premier League
Latvian U21 midfielder Markus Strods played his 15th league game of the season, helping Bohemians to their third straight clean sheet win and a rise to second place.

19-year-old Latvian U21 international midfielder Markus Strods was on the pitch until the 76th minute, when his team Bohemians already led 1-0. It was his 15th appearance in the Irish Premier League season. So far, he has scored two goals and provided four assists.
Bohemians have secured three consecutive clean sheet victories, earning 43 points from 25 matches to move up to second place in the standings. However, the closest rivals – Dublin's St. Patrick's Athletic (41 points) and Dundalk (35) – have two games in hand.
On July 9, Bohemians will face Gibraltar's St. Josephs in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
