Morocco beats Haiti 4-2, secures knockout stage spot at World Cup
Morocco came from behind twice to defeat Haiti 4-2, finishing second in Group C and earning a direct place in the Round of 16.

Morocco's national football team overcame a two-goal deficit to beat Haiti 4-2 in the final group match, clinching second place in Group C and advancing to the knockout stage.
The first half was a rollercoaster. Haiti took a shock lead in the 10th minute when a shot deflected off Moroccan goalkeeper Bono and into the net. Morocco equalized in the 39th minute through Achraf Hakimi, who scored after a scramble in the box. The referee confirmed the goal following a VAR check.
Haiti regained the lead in the 43rd minute via Wilson Isidor's powerful long-range strike. But Morocco responded just before halftime: Ismael Saibari leveled the score at 2-2 in stoppage time.
In the second half, Morocco dominated possession and finally turned their statistical superiority into goals. Soufiane Rahimi and Jassim Yassine struck late to secure a 4-2 victory. Despite holding 67% possession and an xG of 2.16 to Haiti's 0.48, Morocco struggled to break through until the final stages.
Brazil also finished with 7 points but topped Group C on goal difference. Morocco will face the winner of Group F in the Round of 16.
