Mārupe county mixed choir "Maska" achieves second place in prestigious competition in Hungary

In early July, the mixed choir "Maska" from Babīte Cultural and Educational Centre of Mārupe county represented Latvia at the Béla Bartók International Choir Competition 2026, held in Debrecen, Hungary. This event is one of the qualifying rounds for the prestigious European Grand Prix for Choral Singing (EGP). The choir achieved second place in the Grand Prix final, marking an outstanding success.
