Marvel Studios had a number of big reveals at Comic-Con this year, albeit less dramatic than in previous years. The biggest news was that Ryan Gosling will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Ghost Rider. The standalone film, directed by Shawn Levy (known for 'Deadpool & Wolverine'), is scheduled for release in 2028.

Director Ryan Coogler also took the stage, officially confirming that 'Black Panther III' will hit theaters on December 15, 2028. He introduced David Jonsson (from 'The Long Walk' and 'Alien Romulus') as T'Challa's son and the new Black Panther in the franchise.

Marvel also showed a new trailer for 'Avengers: Doomsday'. During the presentation, Ryan Reynolds appeared in the crowd as Deadpool and asked the film's directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, if there was room for him in the movie. The Russos replied that the film is essentially finished, but they might be able to work something out. Additionally, it was confirmed that Hayley Atwell will return as Peggy Carter.
