Mavericks Sign Naji Marshall to Contract Extension

The Dallas Mavericks have extended the contract of one of their most productive role players. Naji Marshall, a 28-year-old forward who has spent the last two seasons with the Texas club, has signed a new three-year deal.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the agreement is fully guaranteed and totals $52.2 million. The contract keeps Marshall in Dallas through the 2029-30 season.

Marshall began his career with the New Orleans Pelicans and has played for the Mavericks for the past two years. During the final stretch of the past season, he was one of the team's key contributors: among players on the Mavericks' end-of-season roster, Marshall averaged 15.2 points, second only to Dallas's new star Cooper Flagg.

Marshall's existing contract, worth $9.4 million, remains in effect for the upcoming season. His new extension will begin in the 2027/28 season.
