Dermatology clinic Vividerm joins MeDi Group portfolio
Riga-based healthcare clinic Vividerm joined the MeDi Group portfolio in early September. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Vividerm, an integrated healthcare clinic located in the "Verde" office building in Riga that offers dermatology, gynecology, endocrinology and aesthetic medicine services, joined the MeDi Group healthcare company group in early September. The financial terms of the deal remain confidential.
MeDi Group board chairman Dins Šmits says the addition of Vividerm expands the group's range of medical services and marks an important step in the platform's long-term development strategy. The group's goal is to build a professionally managed healthcare company group that brings together high-level clinics and gives them long-term growth opportunities, relying on local capital and industry expert knowledge. According to Šmits, Vividerm's near-term development will focus mainly on dermatology services, and the group plans to evaluate offers from other specialized medical clinics wishing to join before the end of the year.
Vividerm board member Sergejs Botjanovskis describes joining the group as an important milestone in the clinic's development. He says the partnership with MeDi Group will help strengthen the clinic's market position, expand its team of medical professionals and its range of services, while preserving its existing quality standards. Botjanovskis notes that capital and industry experience from Latvian investors will support faster growth for the clinic.
Group's expansion
Alongside Vividerm, the MeDi Group portfolio is also being joined by the laser hair removal and cosmetology chain SEBO Beauty and the SkinPRO beauty salons located in Liepāja and Daugavpils. MeDi Group aims to consolidate private healthcare facilities of various profiles, providing them with capital, professional management expertise and support for both developing existing institutions and establishing new ones. The first medical facility co-financed by the group — the LORENT ear, nose and throat clinic led by otolaryngologist Dr. med. Rūdolfs Jānis Vīksne — opened in June 2026.
