Report: Chinese company secretly supplied Russia with drone-manufacturing materials

The Daily Telegraph and the online outlet Politico report that Chinese state-owned company Jilin Chemical Fiber Group sent 46 tonnes of chemicals to Russia that are used in the manufacturing of drones.
According to the outlets, the shipment was declared as civilian cargo, concealing its actual intended use. Labeling the cargo this way would theoretically make it easier to cross borders and avoid international scrutiny aimed at preventing supplies intended for military purposes from reaching Russia.

China officially maintains that it is neutral in the Russia-Ukraine war, but Western countries and media have repeatedly voiced suspicion that Beijing is indirectly supporting Moscow's military industry by supplying technologies and raw materials with dual civilian and military applications. Reports of this kind could affect how Western countries view China and add pressure to introduce new restrictions or sanctions against companies suspected of assisting Russia's defense sector.
