Media: Company owned by Stepaņenko's father in Russia produced 'dragon's teeth' for Russian army

Independent outlet The Insider reports that Sergejs Fedotovs, father of prime ministerial candidate Jūlija Stepaņenko, is majority owner of two construction firms near Moscow, one of which produced so-called 'dragon's teeth' anti-tank barriers for the Russian army.

The independent online outlet The Insider published an investigative report on Wednesday, September 23, claiming that Sergejs Fedotovs, father of Jūlija Stepaņenko — the prime ministerial candidate from the 'Sovereign Power/Union of Young Latvians' political alliance — is the majority owner of two construction companies in the Moscow region.

According to the outlet, one of these companies produced so-called 'dragon's teeth' — concrete anti-tank barriers used by the Russian military.

The report about Fedotovs' business ties to Russia's military-industrial sector emerged as his daughter, Jūlija Stepaņenko, has become a candidate for the post of prime minister from the 'Sovereign Power/Union of Young Latvians' alliance.
