MESA and GACHO concert at Mežaparks gets green light, but with movement restrictions

The Riga municipality has confirmed that the joint concert "Roku rokā" by musicians MESA and GACHO will take place after all, despite earlier uncertainty caused by severe weather. The event, originally scheduled at the Mežaparks Great Bandstand, had been postponed to Sunday because of a storm.
Restricted access
While the concert has been given the go-ahead, the municipality warns that attendees will face movement restrictions. Access to the venue will only be possible via specially designated routes, so visitors are advised to familiarize themselves in advance with the available paths to the bandstand.
The Riga municipality communicated these conditions to the public, noting that the changes are linked to safety considerations following the storm's effects on the area.
