Meta unveils new AI models Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full
Meta says it has caught up with the AI frontier after more than a year of rebuilding its efforts, as it introduced two new models. They are rolling out to subscribers, and Muse Wonder is also available through the company's API.

Meta, the US technology company behind Facebook and Instagram, has introduced two new artificial intelligence models, Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full. The company says that after more than a year of rebuilding its AI work, at a cost of tens of billions of dollars, it has caught up with the leading developers in the field.
Meta describes the models as "a major leap toward personal superintelligence." According to the company, they are especially capable at legal, financial and health-related tasks, and deliver "frontier coding performance."
New abilities
Both models add two features. "Active memory" carries what matters to a user across conversations and brings back details relevant to the task at hand. "Active focus" lets an AI agent keep working toward a goal when a task becomes difficult. Meta says this should help people get more done over long periods. The company plans to bring Wonder to its personal agent, Muse, starting with paid subscribers.
Investment
Meta has said it expects to spend as much as $145 billion this year on its AI ambitions. In an interview with the Financial Times, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said reaching this point required a large amount of computing power and investment, as well as "a lot of very rigorous scientific work" by the company's superintelligence team.
Availability and pricing
The new models are rolling out to subscribers now. Muse Wonder is available through Meta's API and in Muse Code, the company's coding tool. It is priced at $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens. Muse Wonder Full is available to Muse Code subscribers on the $50-a-month "power usage" or $200-a-month "maximum usage" tiers.
