First "La-Di-Da-Di" Garden Festival Held in Mežaparks: Laying Groundwork for New Indie Music Tradition
On July 7 and 8, the "La-Di-Da-Di" garden festival, an indie music event, took place for the first time at the Zaļais teātris in Mežaparks, featuring eight bands and ten DJs.

In the middle of the week, on July 7 and 8, Mežaparks' Zaļais teātris hosted the first edition of "La-Di-Da-Di" garden festival, a new indie music event. The two-day program consisted of performances by eight bands and ten DJs. According to organizers, the festival was geared towards an adult audience, and the crowd reflected that.
The festival took place in the open-air setting of Zaļais teātris, surrounded by nature. The aim of "La-Di-Da-Di" is to establish a new musical tradition centered on indie sounds and a more intimate atmosphere, as opposed to large-scale mass events.
The inaugural edition was successful, and organizers hope these garden festivals will become an annual fixture in Latvia's music scene. By combining live bands and DJ sets, the festival offered a diverse program that allowed attendees to enjoy music both during the day and into the evening.
