Choral concert “To My Homeland” held in Mežaparks
On July 11, the Great Stage of Mežaparks hosted the choral concert “To My Homeland,” gathering over 200 choirs from Latvia and the diaspora, along with 2,500 participants from the “Sing Together” initiative.

On July 11 this year, the Great Stage “Sidraba birzs” in Mežaparks resonated with a grand choral concert titled “To My Homeland.” The event featured more than 200 choirs, coming not only from various regions of Latvia but also from Latvian diaspora communities around the world. Joining these ensembles were 2,500 individuals involved in the “Sing Together” initiative.
Throughout the concert, the Mežaparks stage transformed into a unified grand chorus, bringing together Latvian soloists, conductors, and the accompanying orchestra. This event underscored the strength of choral music traditions and the unifying power of Latvian singing, particularly highlighting the bond between the homeland and Latvian communities abroad.
