Mežaparks Hosts Grand Choir Concert 'For My Homeland'
On July 11, the Mežaparks Great Stage 'Sidraba birzs' held the choir concert 'Manai Dzimtenei', featuring over 200 choirs from Latvia and the Latvian diaspora, along with 2500 participants from the 'Dziedam kopā' initiative.
On July 11, the Mežaparks Great Stage 'Sidraba birzs' became the venue for the choir concert 'Manai Dzimtenei' ('For My Homeland'). The event gathered more than 200 choirs from Latvia and Latvian diaspora communities worldwide, as well as 2500 participants from the 'Dziedam kopā' ('We Sing Together') initiative.
Together with Latvian soloists, conductors, and an accompanying orchestra, the Mežaparks Great Stage was transformed into a large united choir. The concert highlighted the importance of choral music in Latvian culture and strengthened ties with the diaspora, creating a shared musical experience.
